Program Information

The Kinship Caregiver Program at Catholic Charities supports individuals who are caring for a relative’s children, usually because the child’s parent is incarcerated, has lost custody, or is otherwise unable to care for them. The program offers comprehensive support in the form of support groups, food and clothing assistance, legal aid in adoption & guardianship issues, parenting classes, locating childcare, counseling, and emergency financial assistance.
