Open to Empowerment Program participants only. DBT consists of four modules: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. Participants learn to be more present in their everyday life, have better and more long-lasting relationships, stop feeling overwhelmed by their emotions, understand their feelings, and learn ways to feel better.

MM empowers individuals to accept personal responsibility for choosing and maintaining their own path, whether moderation or abstinence. MM promotes early self-recognition of risky drinking behavior, when moderate drinking is a more easily achievable goal.
