Phoenix Multisport: Boulder/Denver Chapter

Phoenix Multisport fosters a supportive, physically active community for individuals who are recovering from a substance use disorder and those who choose to live sober. Through pursuits such as climbing, hiking, running, strength training, yoga, road/mountain biking, socials and other activities, we seek to help our members develop and maintain the emotional strength they need to stay sober.

Drop-In Center

The Drop-In Center at CHARG is open to anyone 18+ who is living with and being treated for a mental health condition. The center provides a place to socialize, have coffee and snacks, use the Internet and phone, meet with Peer Specialists, and access food and clothing banks. Various social, activity, and support groups are offered throughout the week. Schedule can be found on the main charg.org website.

A Place of Our Own

A Place of Our Own is the Eating Disorder Foundation’s home to support and education programs. In addition to support groups, the center accommodates informal drop-in visits for people seeking support, alone time, or socializing with other people in recovery. The space is surrounded by a garden that is also open to visitors. Drop-in hours can be found on the website.

Yoga for Mood Management

Yoga for Mood Management is a workshop or workshop series for individuals with depression, anxiety, or other mood regulation problems. The class involves both yoga/mindfulness education and time to share personal experiences and discuss the relevance of these practices in daily life. A single 2-hour workshop is $250 per person and a 4-session series is $800 per person.

Yoga for Stress Management is a workshop or workshop series for individuals struggling to manage situational and chronic stress. The class involves both yoga and meditation education and time to share personal experiences and discuss the relevance of these practices in daily life. A single 2-hour workshop is $250 per person and a 4-session series is $800 per person.

Yoga for Life Transitions is a workshop or workshop series for individuals going through challenging life situations like divorce, job loss, break-up, addiction recovery, or moving. The class involves both yoga education and time to share personal experiences and discuss the relevance of these practices in daily life. A single 2-hour workshop is $250 per person and a 4-session series is $800 per person.

Wellness Classes

Jefferson Center offers a variety of wellness classes each quarter that are free to Medicaid clients and $5-$10 per class for private insurance clients. Open to anyone recieving mental health services at JCMH.

Courses and Workshops

Mile Hi Church offers a variety of workshops, classes, and retreats for individuals interested in spiritual healing and lifestyle. Offerings include thriving with a cancer diagnosis, meditation and prayer, finding your inner child, becoming unified with nature, and much more. Senior Yoga Group

8-week trauma-sensitive yoga classes tailored toward seniors. Transportation assistance, scholarships, and disability accommodations are available.
